Episode 135: Bob Sandlin
On the 29th of July, 1967 the unthinkable happened aboard the USS Forrestal. A Zuni rocket set in motion a series of explosions and subsequent fire. Bob Sandlin was on that ship. Bob and Joy share their story from being newlyweds, to living through that day, and now being Grandparents to 23 grandchildren.
